Outreach

During the pursuit of my PhD, I found a passion for geoscience outreach. There's just so much to learn about Earth's history and current processes, and so many creative ways to tell each story! Put simply, it's just fun to talk with people of all ages and knowledge backgrounds about our Earth, the Pale Blue Dot that we call home.

In the past few years, I've volunteered for a variety of outreach events in and around Gainesville and north central Florida, including the UF Department of Geological Sciences annual 'Can You Dig It?' event, the Thompson Earth Science Institute's Scientist in Every School program (TESI-SEFS), North Florida Association for Women Geoscientists, Geogators, March for Science, and more.

This Page is an archive of events I've participated in, for ideas that can help YOU plan your next outreach event, visit my 'Resources' Page!
